I would like to encourage an Aspiring model to research the field of modeling, to find a great and trustworthy Mentor, to stay with their Mentor no matter how long the road or path may take to success.
I would say be the best you, YOU can be in spite of the environment around you. Not everyone will accept your passion because only you understand your love for what you want to accomplish in life.
My personal modeling goal is to continue elevating the concept of being more than a model. I want to encourage other plus size women to own their confidence with class, while continuing to raise the value of their worth.
Some people don’t take me seriously when I say that I’m a plus size model. I get a few comments here and there talking about glorifying obesity and things of that nature.
I’ve been modeling since 2013! I’ve learned to go with your gut and stand your ground. I’ve learned to accept situations as they come and move gracefully no matter what. I always get a shocked reaction when people hear me say I’m a model...
I have faced the challenge of society not taking me seriously. There are moments where people don’t understand. But I learned to let people think what they want.
I have experienced many challenges as a dark skinned and plus size model in this industry. However, the most challenging encounter was when I went to a plus-size casting at a top agency. I was depicted for my size. A casting director humiliated me by questioning my authentic body parts.
Designers not having clothes to fit me, designers not wanting me to walk in their shows because of my size. Being a string walker, you will still get looked over for someone smaller that can’t walk as well just because of size.

I started modeling in 2013 but at the end of the year, I broke my ankle. I was on crutches (or shall I say down) for an entire year. So, I fell back from it and just recently returned about three years ago. My experience level in my opinion is still very new.
My favorite genre of modeling would be Editorial. Editorial because of the high fashion aspect. You get to tell a story through pictures in a magazine. Editorial modeling highlights High fashion markets and it revolves around showcasing designer clothing.
My Professional goals is to own my own trucking company leave assets for my sons. Modeling goals to be able to encourage the next woman that she is enough. Her uniqueness is one of her greatest features.
I am new to modeling. I started modelling March of 2021. I fell into modeling by taking photographs for my 30th birthday. I fell in love with being in front of the camera and decided to try my hand at plus size modeling.
